Meet Dr. Stolarczuk


Dr. Stolarczuk, a Chicago native, brings decades of experience and dedication to the field of optometry. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1983, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Visual Science and a Doctorate in Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1987. She went on to complete a Hospital-Based Optometry Residency at the San Francisco Veterans Administration Medical Center in 1988.


Dr. Stolarczuk co-owned a private optometric practice from 1988 to 2021. From 1987 to 2005, she also worked with West Coast Retina, where she specialized in ocular ultrasound for patients with ocular melanoma and contributed to multiple national research studies focused on ocular melanoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease.


In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Stolarczuk served as a clinical instructor in the Ocular Disease Clinic at the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry from 1988 to 1998.


Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, as well as practicing yoga, hiking, swimming, reading, and kayaking.
